Privacy Policy

Table Watch (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using Table Watch, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the reservation alert service:

  • Email address — required to create an account and receive alert notifications.
  • Restaurant preferences — the restaurants, dates, party sizes, and time windows you configure for monitoring.
  • Phone number — only if you opt into SMS alerts. Entirely optional.
  • Billing information — handled exclusively by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Usage data — basic logs such as alert deliveries and plan usage, used to maintain service reliability.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate and improve Table Watch:

  • Sending reservation availability alerts via email and, if enabled, SMS.
  • Managing your subscription and processing payments through Stripe.
  • Enforcing monthly alert limits associated with your plan.
  • Responding to support requests you initiate.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and improving system performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the service.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — processes all subscription payments. PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only a tokenized reference to your payment method.
  • Supabase — stores your account data in a hosted PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest and in transit.
  • SMS provider — if you enable SMS alerts, your phone number is passed to our messaging provider solely to deliver those notifications.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

Cookies

Table Watch uses only essential session cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is displayed because no non-essential cookies are set.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Alert logs are retained for 90 days and then deleted automatically. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account, email contact@tablewatch.comwith the subject line “Delete my account.” We will process your request within 10 business days.

Security

All data is transmitted over TLS. Account data stored in Supabase is encrypted at rest. We apply the principle of least privilege to internal access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and industry-standard precautions.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
